GK Elite Sportswear was a sponsor of the 2015 Pink Invitational and we had the chance to sit down with Pink Invitational and Unite for Her founder Sue Weldon.
A breast cancer survivor herself, Sue shares her story, passion, and mission to bridge the gap between the medical community and the wellness community.
Unite for Her was founded to help women get back on their feet and become whole again by offering massage therapy, acupuncture, yoga, and fresh, organic vegetables through Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) accounts.
Unite for Her offers up to $2,000 worth of vouchers per woman to relieve their financial burden.
A gymnastic coach for 27 years, Sue Weldon was diagnosed and founded the Pink Invitation as an educational fundraiser event to support women, raise awareness, and raise funds for cancer patients.
Sue also touches on why she chose to partner with GK Elite - from well-known in the USAG community and the strong relationship we have built with Sue Weldon throughout the years, it's clear that everyone involved with Unite for Her and the Pink Invitational has accomplished a lot together and will continue to do so in the future.
